Birthday Blooms – clean and simple

I have a sweet friend who recently had a birthday and I wanted to wish her a happy day.  So I looked at my stash and pulled out the Birthday Blooms set.  Have I told you recently I love this set, especially the large flower?  LOL.  Only every time I use this set!

This was such an easy card to make and for me it was very clean and simple.  I used a piece from the Love Blossoms Designer Series Paper Stack for the layer between the Rose Red card base and Whisper White panel.  The flower was colored with Rose Red and Old Olive markers then I did some fussy cutting, since it is so relaxing for me, and cut out the flower image.  The flower was adhered at the bottom corner, just off the card stock.  Next, using Daffodil Delight ink I stamped the “dots” and finished stamping the greeting with Tuxedo Black Memento ink.

Clean and simple, right?

Because the flower extends outside the card base I made an envelope to contain the card.

If you need any of the products I used they are listed below and you can click on the image and it will take you directly to my store.

Thanks for stopping by.  Happy stamping!
