Wacky Watercooler Celebrates the Occasions Catalog and Sale-a-bration “Take One”

Happy New Year everyone and welcome to the first Wacky Watercooler Blog Hop of 2017.  We are celebrating the 2017 Occasions Catalog & Sale-a-bration Brochure with two mini hops this month.  For this first hop we will each be sharing with you two projects from new products that we just couldn’t live without!

How the Wacky Watercooler Blog Hop Works:

Before I show you my projects I wanted to remind you that this is a circular Blog Hop. That means that wherever you begin, if you continue to go to the “next” blog on the list, you will eventually wind up right where you first started. You will find the “next” button (and the “previous” button if you want to go backwards) at the end of this post. The “home” button will give you a listing of all participating blogs.

If you have been moving forward through the Wacky Watercooler Blog Hop you would have arrived here after visiting Marsha Reed’s blog.  She she always has such fun projects for us to CASE.

Everyday Hero

Who doesn’t love an everyday hero?  Especially little boys, and of course little girls!  From Spiderman, to Batman, or perhaps to Superman you will find children eagerly hoping to get a toy of their favorite one for their birthday.

I have a grandson who has been into super-heroes since he was a little guy so the Everyday Hero set was one I knew I wanted the minute I saw it in our Celebration Catalog.  I love the buildings, the greetings, the capes, and especially the way I can make my hero male or female depending on how I combine the stamps.

Now I want you to know this is also a perfect set for the adults in your life who are your hero!

This is my first double Z fold card.  It was extremely easy to assemble.

I really spent some time on this card practicing my coloring skills!  But it was a lot of fun to create.

What do you give the little guy that has everything!  A super-hero box of course to hold that tiny gift or money.

This was pretty quick to make.  I just stamped the buildings on Soft Sky card stock along the bottom of each flap and then colored them. I then adhered the box together leaving the back panel loose so it will open and close – that way I can put my gift in!  I stamped the super-hero on Sahara Sand colored card stock and then colored in his hair and suit.  Ta-da it was done!

Well that’s it for this hop.  Thank you so much for stopping by.  If you would like to leave a comment, click on the bubble at the top of this post. I’d love to hear from you.

You next stop is with the fabulous Penny Hanuszak!  She never fails to amaze me with her wonderful projects.
