Hi there. Last time I posted I had told you we had experienced some snow here. I was browsing through some of the pictures I recently took and came across this one of our winter wonderland. The snow makes everything look so clean and fresh, and pretty – but it was cold!
Even through it made the world look peaceful, it definitely make traveling up and down our road extremely difficult. Thankfully it’s all melted!
Today I’m sharing another card that the layout was inspired by the sketch at the Mojo Monday site.
This card features the Lift Me Up set from Stampin’ Up!, and the telescope technique.
To create the telescope look I stamped the red hot air balloon on a piece of Whisper White card stock. After stamping it I used three different sizes of squares from the Layering Squares Farmelits to cut it out in pieces. Then the pieces were popped up with the Foam Adhesive Strips, with the first piece adhered to a piece of Whisper White card stock that had been cut out using the largest square from the Stitched Shapes Framelits. Each layer I added an additional strip of Foam Adhesive Strip to increase the depth with the top layer of the balloon having three strips layered together so it was higher than the previous piece.
You can use almost any stamp when using the telescope technique. I hope you try it soon!
